Message: This the best choice any parent can make for their child. Ms. Wendy is as important to the process as the horse. She is gifted by God to connect children with horses and horses with children. In this process, the child BLOOMS and confidence abounds. As an adult, I too took lessons from Wendy so that I could be confident enough to have a horse in our family for my daughter, a student of Ms. Wendy. We now have a farm in Pennsylvania and our horse is a big part of my child's life. Invest in this process because it gives your child something that medication, therapy, things cannot give....LOVE...for self and animals. LOVE. It is worth it. Thank you Ms. Wendy. Message: As a seasoned farrier (now retired), I have seen virtually every hue of the spectrum in horse behavior and owner dedication. Having helped Wendy several times with her horse's feet, I can easily say that all of her horses are very gentle, tractable, have good dispositions and personable. It's a testament to Wendy's consistent training and handling that her horses are this way, because horses want a leader and Wendy gives them that. Her horses are very happy campers and will go a long way in helping kids and inexperienced adults alike gain confidence in understanding of what good horses are all about. Whoever gets the chance to have Wendy help them to become more knowledgeable about horses will have a pleasant experience and be better for it.

Message: Our family had the opportunity to spend the day at the Equestrian Experience. It was a great experience for our entire family. Message: Equestrian Experience was instrumental in assisting us when we got 2 horses. As new owners we needed lots of help learning how to care for them and understand their language. While our horses boarded with Equestrian Experience for training, we also learned not only grooming, medicating, and feeding but how to gain their trust so we could train them. Our association with Equestrian Experience also included riding not only our horses, but others with different personalities. What we learned helped us to go from panicked owners to being able to attain a partnership with our horses.

Message What a fantastic experience it was learning to ride, for myself and both of my children at Wendy's facility. As a young child I had a very bad encounter with a trail horse in KY. To make a long story short, about a half of a mile into the ride the horse decided he wanted to go back to the stables… so full speed down the trail we went no control whatsoever. Needless to say, I was hanging on for dear life as you can imagine until we made it back. I was 8 years old at the time. It took me 34 years to get back on a horse and because of Ms Wendy and her gentle giants help, it has helped me get over my fears from so long ago. I greatly appreciate Ms Wendy's patience and understanding of my fears. Thank you so much Ms Wendy.

Message I have had the privilege of knowing Wendy for many years. The compassion that she shows to all her animals is second to none. All five of my kids have had the benefit of being around her and her horses at different times. She has taught them how to not only care for but to respect the horses and does this in a manner that they can relate to and understand. Wendy has a gift of teaching kids how to ride and to be passionate about it as well. One of the most regular questions that I am asked by my kids is "Can we go visit Miss Wendy?". Wendy will provide anyone looking to learn about or spend time with horses an experience they will not forget. I cannot say enough good things about the time, work, compassion and most importantly love that Wendy shows to her family of horses.

Message I have an amazingly hyperactive Belgian Malinois, who loves to jump over coffee tables, charge the front door when company comes, and jump in ways that would make a kangaroo envy. That all changed after a visit to Wendy's ranch. I struggle to put into words the calm that came over my dog. It even remained with her when my kids got home from school. The kids immediately noticed a difference when they walked in the door. “Mom, Allie is so chill.” was the universal agreement. Wendy taught me gentle ways to correct her. The calming nature of the ranch and Wendy's spirit affected my dog and myself. Having been around various dog trainers and styles, I can say I haven't experienced anyone comparable. It is well worth the visit to the ranch to see the difference Wendy Wilkerson can make.
